BAZAART 2018

BAZAART 2018

This past weekend I participated in the 45th Annual BAZAART event. It's held every year and sponsored by the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina, SK. It's a one-day, outdoor event with over 100 vendors selling their crafts. The event goes on rain or shine. Last year it rained (horribly); this year the sun was out for most of the day. It was a successful show and as always, I got to meet a lot of fun and interesting people.

Here are a few photos from the day:

A woman came all the way from Germany with her mother and daughter and was visiting her cousin in Regina. She looked great in this dress made of organic linen and organic cotton.

A perfect fit!

The Nehru collar tunic is always a winner and flattering on everyone.

This woman has a one-of-a-kind jacket top. Since my designs are made in small batches, I can sometimes feel a little bit 'attached' to them.  I'm always happy when customers allow me to take their photo in the design they have chosen. There is a lot of heart and soul put into these designs. This particular piece is of navy linen with a cotton panel that was block printed by artisans in India and dyed with natural dyes.

The ride home in the evening presented the most amazing show.
